Your brand is being sold on Amazon and eBay. But not always by you.
Online Trade Tactics is the strategic enforcement partner that finds them, removes them, and keeps them gone — so you can focus on building your brand, not policing it.
Peace of mind. Brand integrity. Your first line of defence — active, experienced, and working for you every single day.
Unauthorised sellers are quietly damaging your brand right now — wrong images, outdated descriptions, missing brand messaging, grey market stock. Every day without active enforcement is another day your brand looks like something it is not.
You built the brand.
Someone else is cashing in on it.
While you focus on building your business, a parallel marketplace economy is operating beneath the surface — misrepresenting your brand, undermining your presentation, and eroding the customer experience you have worked hard to create.
Unauthorised Resellers
Sellers listing your products without your consent — sourced through grey market channels, liquidation stock or parallel imports.
Listing Hijackers
Third parties attaching to your own product pages, undercutting your price and winning the Buy Box from under you.
Brand Presentation Damage
Unauthorised sellers using outdated images, wrong descriptions, missing brand messaging — eroding how your product looks and feels to every customer who finds it.
Counterfeit & Near-Counterfeit
Inferior product sold under your brand name, leaving customers with an experience they will attribute to you — not the seller who let them down.
Most brands try the
wrong tools first.
A cease and desist letter gets ignored. A platform complaint sits in a queue. The seller creates a new account and starts again. Meanwhile your brand continues to be misrepresented to every customer who finds it. Marketplace enforcement is a specialism in its own right — and most agencies, lawyers and consultants simply do not have it.
Sixteen years inside
the marketplace ecosystem.
This is not a software tool or an automated alert service. It is a hands-on strategic partnership — combining decades of lived marketplace experience with AI-assisted monitoring — so that nothing gets missed and nothing gets ignored. We become your first line of defence: the team that spots the problem before you do, acts on it immediately, and takes the stress and frustration completely off your plate.
“I spent 13 years on the other side of this relationship. I know exactly how unauthorised sellers operate, where they source stock, and what actually makes them stop — because I lived inside those markets myself.”Chris Rice — Founder, Online Trade Tactics
Over a 16-year career working directly with some of the most recognised brands in their categories — including LELO, a global brand with revenues exceeding £100 million who personally sought strategic advice on managing their European marketplace channels — the experience accumulated spans brand protection, channel control, and enforcement across both Amazon and eBay.
That experience extends to direct Brand Registry and marketplace management work with brands including pjur, Swiss Navy, and Chisa — international brands with serious channel integrity requirements in the UK and European marketplace.
When enforcement action is filed through Amazon Brand Registry or eBay VeRO on your behalf, it is filed by someone who has sat on both sides of that process — as a brand operator and as an authorised enforcement partner. Combined with AI-assisted marketplace monitoring, that means faster detection, faster action, and a strategic partner who understands the territory from the inside out. That is the difference.
Hands-on enforcement.
Every single month.
This is not a report to file away. This is active, ongoing work inside the platforms where your brand is being misused — conducted by a specialist who understands both sides of the equation.
Monthly Marketplace Audit
A structured review of Amazon UK (and EU where applicable) and eBay UK — identifying unauthorised listings, hijacked Buy Boxes, MAP violations, and counterfeit product pages carrying your brand.
Amazon Brand Registry Enforcement
Direct submission of infringement reports through Amazon’s Brand Registry tools — listing removal requests, Buy Box complaints, and escalation where initial reports are stalled or rejected.
eBay VeRO Programme Management
Submission and follow-up of Verified Rights Owner complaints against infringing eBay listings, with documented outcomes and escalation paths for persistent offenders.
Seller Pattern Analysis
Identifying repeat offenders, linked accounts, and sourcing patterns — so enforcement stops being purely reactive and starts anticipating where the next problem will come from.
Monthly Intelligence Report
A clear, plain-English summary each month: what was found, what action was taken, and what the outcome was. A complete picture of your brand’s marketplace health, on record.
Strategic Channel Guidance
Recommendations on distribution controls, authorised seller policy wording, and platform-level brand controls — reducing the flow of grey market and unauthorised stock at source, before it becomes an enforcement problem.

What brands
typically ask first.
Do I need to be trademark registered?
Yes. Amazon Brand Registry and eBay VeRO both require registered trademark ownership to file enforcement actions. If your trademark is pending, we can discuss interim steps and plan for full enforcement once registration completes. If you are not yet registered, we can point you towards the right next step.
What marketplaces does this cover?
Amazon UK and eBay UK are covered across all tiers. Amazon EU marketplaces — Germany, France, Italy and Spain — are included in the Premium tier. If you have specific EU requirements, this can be discussed during the audit call.
Is this a legal service?
No. This is a specialist marketplace enforcement service, not a legal service. All work is conducted within the operational tools of Amazon Brand Registry and eBay VeRO on your behalf. For matters requiring legal proceedings or formal IP advice, we recommend independent IP solicitors and can provide referrals where appropriate.
We are an international brand. Can you work with us?
Yes. A significant portion of the brands who have sought advice from Online Trade Tactics have been international brands entering or already operating in UK and European marketplaces. If you are based outside the UK, the audit call is the right starting point — it costs nothing and gives you a clear picture of your exposure.
How quickly can enforcement begin?
Following onboarding, initial enforcement actions are typically filed within the first two weeks. The baseline audit is completed in the first week, with enforcement actions filed as infringements are confirmed. There is no delay built into the process.
Find out what is happening
to your brand right now.
The audit call is free and without obligation. You will leave knowing exactly what is happening to your brand on Amazon and eBay — and what it would look like to have a dedicated strategic partner handling it for you, so you never have to think about it again.
